Live Review: WATCH: Savages 'Fuckers' (Live In London)

UK female-foursome SAVAGES have been tearing up stages left, right and centre with their gutsy, heavy-hitting, post-punk music.

Following the cycle of hype and buzz that surrounded the band's beginnings, the quartet have well and truly droned out any shred of scepticism, with their acclaimed debut album Silence Yourself released May of last year.

With brooding bass lines, distorted riffs and angst-tinged vocals filling each SAVAGES song, front woman Jehnny Beth draws comparisons a-plentiful to Ian Curtis and Siouxsie Sioux.

Today, the band have unveiled their latest release, ‘Fuckers/Dream Baby Dream’, recorded at their November 2013 London Forum show. The track encapsulates the energetic intensity that has become synonymous with SAVAGES' repertoire and onstage presence. To mark the release of 'Fuckers', the band have also released an accompanying video filmed at the same show.

Directed by Giorgio Testi, it's a cinematic display of what to expect at a SAVAGES' gig; raw, punchy and mysteriously foreboding as the video displays SAVAGES slowly evolve and morph into the track's title.
