Live Review: Lancelot 'Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent' ft. Ngaiire (Official Video)
Lancelot has released a new music clip for a new track which sees Ngaiire lend her soulful vocals.
'Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent' featuring NGAIIRE is definitely a great track you'll be hearing in the clubs very soon. LANCELOT always has a great beat to dance too in his music and this one is no exception.
With a very light drum machine leading the charge, you are already dancing as soon as the song begins to play. Some early 00's synths make an appearance which make you stop and think hang on, this feels very nostalgic, but then 'Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent' gets into the full swing of things and you become excited about the melody that has suddenly snuck right on in.
The swooping synths dance alongside the jazzy samples like they were just meant to be together. There are some soft horns popping up throughout the track and NGAIIRE's vocals just take the track and turn it into a soulful piece of work that you can't forget easily.

With jazzy samples, soulful vocals and an early 00's disco vibe, you'd wonder what kind of music of music video LANCELOT and NGAIIRE would produce to accompany 'Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent'. With so many elements present it could go any way however, the pair have decided to keep things very simple and have a video of them performing the track together in a studio shot completely in black and white. Simple whilst still looking funky, mainly because of the vocalist's outfit and dancing,
