Live Review: Guerre 'Deatheat' (Official Video)

26 May 2014 | 9:54 pm | Jessica Holton

Guerre's video for his breathy and percussion laded track 'Deatheat' is mesmerising and intriguing coming from his debut album 'Ex Nihilo' out July 4

GUERRE's official video for his breathy and percussion laded track 'Deatheat' is so mesmerising and intriguing that it may remind you of those squeezy tube things filled with jelly from your younger years.

The shimmering gold liquid that contorts and spins creates a rippling effect to compliment the rolling percussion work in the track. If you were wondering how such ideas could be birthed, then look no further than Australian Artist Lenny Gash who produced the clip and has worked on such projects as the OutsideIn Festival and Vivid Sydney.

The graphics are trippy and will bend your mind as you try to keep up and make some sense of the imagery before you. However, the true magic in this clip is the ability to combine beautiful sound with breathtaking artistry.
