Live Review: LISTEN: Fishing ft. Jonas Nicholls 'Your Mouth'

Sydney lads Doug Wright and Russell Fitzgibbon have announced details of their debut album for their musical union FISHING. To soften the blow of the month long wait, they've dropped the LP's first single, 'Your Mouth'.

This track is bursting with a great sense of adventure. With the scratchy yet jovial guitar and booming bass-line acting as the shell of a suitcase, we soon unclasp the latches of the piece of luggage to reveal a myriad of playful sounds that have been either securely stitched into the lining of the song or just carelessly sprinkled over the top; allowing texture and a larger rainbow to adorn this colourful track.

Top it off with travel buddy Jonas Nicholls (Sures frontman) on vocals and you have a three minute track ready to heighten your wanderlust.

Fishing's debut record 'Shy Glow' was written in different cities around the world, and is to feature the vocals of Cloud Control's Alister Wright, Marcus Whale of Collarbones and his Black Vanilla pal Lavurn Lee, also known as Guerre/Cassius Select. 'Shy Glow' is set to drop on Friday, 6th June via Create / Control.
