Night Slugs co-founder Alex Sushon is better known by his moniker BOK BOK, one of the UK label's front men and definite staple to the dance music scene.

The all-rounder teases us once more with his latest offering, 'Da Foxtrot', taken from his upcoming debut EP Your Charismatic Self due to drop on May 26. This new single doesn't stray far from previous releases such as 'Melba's Call', which featured the alluring vocals of KELELA. It's this consistency that displays Sushon's reliability in delivering quality tunes.

'Da Foxtrot' commands all attention right from the get go, with its domineering bass and scattering of synths leading the way. Its sparse and spacious start builds the mystery on where the song will progress to and of course such mystery only draws you in more.

Just when you're deceived into thinking you've got it all figured out, Sushon throws in a surprise as he eases into a more melodious, brighter atmosphere. With touches of retro funk groove, the producer reminds us that it's his uncanny ability to confidently fuse contrasting musical elements and genres that has us coming back for more.
