Future Islands have announced two sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne, coinciding with their appearance at Splendour 2014.
America trio Future Islands have joined a wave of artists to announce sideshows that will coincide with their Splendour 2014 appearance.
The Baltimore lads are riding high after their performance on Letterman went viral, after an incredible rendition of their hit single 'Seasons (Waiting On You)' that left the show's host himself speechless.
The group's performance is being dubbed one of the best in TV history, and will definitely have you watching it over and over again. It also reinforces their strength onstage, a perfect testimony for why you should check them out - at Splendour or at their sideshows.

Their fourth album 'Singles' has been released to much worldwide acclaim, and has certainly planted them on the mainstream radar. It has a perfect mix of sophisticated croons, defined by a dominant vocal performance from frontman Samuel T. Herring. With a wealth of material from their back catalogue to draw upon, Future Islands promise an emotional performance as yet unseen, and have put themselves out there as one of the must-see acts for 2014.
