Live Review: Elizabeth Rose 'Sensibility' (Indian Summer Remix)

25 May 2014 | 11:55 pm | Lauren Payne

With Elizabeth Rose becoming one of our best exports, another duo who are also making us proud, Indian Summer, have remixed her single 'Sensibility'.

Singer / producer / songwriter / all around great gal ELIZABETH ROSE is currently touring across Europe. While she is playing some of our favourite tracks like 'The Good Life' to a whole new audience, the rest of us back in good ol' Australia have a brand new remix of her track 'Sensibility' to listen to thanks to Sweat It Out!'s, INDIAN SUMMER.

INDIAN SUMMER have had a similar trajectory to ELIZABETH ROSE. First the singer released her track 'The Good Life' that caught international ears and now INDIAN SUMMER have done the same. Their original tracks  'Foreign Formula' and 'Aged Care', which features the sweet vocals of SAFIA's Benjamin Joseph, have caught the eyes and ears of so many people across the globe.

With INDIAN SUMMER remixing ELIZABETH ROSE, we see a new side to her track 'Sensibility'. The piece has quickly gone from being catchy electronic pop track to a hard-hitting club banger that you will no doubt be moving to the next time you hit the dance floor.

'Sensibility' originally opens with ELIZABETH ROSE cooing a sweet "eee-yeah" that could get stuck in your head for days, however on INDIAN SUMMER's new remix, the vocals have been chopped down and blended in with a hard beat that builds the track up as it rolls in. ROSE's vocals soon shine with the beat and high-pitched chopped vocals crashing behind her.

Percussion soon thunders across the track until a fast-paced build brings in a heavy bass drop with INDIAN SUMMER's signature house synths making you grooving along with the track. The house rhythms continue to push on through 'Sensibility' and you know straight away that this is going to be your new jam.
