Crooked Colours Announce Debut Australian Tour

Having just only releasing their debut EP ‘In Your Bones’ on the 9th of May through SWEAT IT OUT MUSIC, Melbourne’s CROOKED COLOURS are already well on their way to huge things.

With the first single being the enigmatically minimal ‘Come Down’, the second being the delicate, percussion driven ‘In Your Bones’, and finally, the release in its entirety. The final track of this feature is titled ‘Keep Your Mouth For Lying’, and explores these dramatically similar themes, with an original flair for these tiny flourishes that create the bigger picture.

The beauty of the three tracks as a trinity lies predominantly in the haunting timbre of Phil Slabber’s vocals, and this paired with the crafty productions, sees an innovative whole.

Following the release of their EP comes the grand opportunity to tour it. And tour it they will do. CROOKED COLOURS will be playing a seven-date tour in July, all around Australia; east coast and west coast, with a sneaky Byron Bay date thrown in there too. Supporting the trio on tour is fellow Melbournians DEJA, and ARTIST CARTEL DJs. You won’t want to miss any of these dates, as these small club/lounge settings will prove to be the perfect atmosphere for such a dreamy sound.
