Future Classic Vivid Live Party ft. Koreless, Stwo & More
Sydney label Future Classic will return to Vivid Live 2014, with one cracker of a night planned. The studio party takeover, their third at the Opera House, will feature the Australian debut of one promising young artist, and the return of an almost household name to Sydney’s shores.
22 year old Wales native Koreless – aka Lewis Roberts – was welcomed into the most prestigious Young Turks family by Jamie xx himself. His 2013 EP Yügen was crowned by Pitchfork as the most significant release of the young producer’s short history, and has secured him honours from Sepalcure, Mount Kimbie and Mark Pritchard.
Rapidly growing in experience and stature, Basenji fits snugly amongst the Future Classic bill, joining Cashmere Cat, Wave Racer and Cosmo’s Midnight in producing tight, upbeat and highly danceable electro-pop. These two will be joined by Stwo and the Future Classic DJs – certainly a team that knows how to pump up the jam.
Future Classic’s studio party is happening on Saturday May 31, from 10pm. Tickets are $35, available from the Sydney Opera House website.
