For a chance to catch Safia (DJ Set), Oshan, Louis London and a bunch more, there's nowhere else to be but at MUM this Friday night.
They listen to soul, they listen to blues and now they enjoy late night DJ sets at World Bar. That's right, SAFIA will be spinning the decks in the Disco Den at MUM this week!
The Canberra three piece have come a long way fast. Since winning the Triple J Unearthed slot for Canberra's Groovin The Moo last year and releasing their debut single so cheaply referred to at the opening of this article, SAFIA have received an abundance of love from national radio, the Internet, the media and their expansive following.
Recently releasing their follow up single, 'Paranoia, Ghosts and Other Sounds' (that has since been remixed by YOUNG FRANCO and PACES, they soon after revealed details of their debut national headlining tour that will see the boys making stops all around the country over the course of a month.
Before it kicks off at Canberra's Transit Bar at the close of next month, the outfit have promised a special DJ set that is to take place at MUM this Friday night. Get a teapot in your belly, a babe to jive with and plenty of energy for the d-floor in order to make the fellas feel at home!

Joining Safia will see North Sydney's Oshan, house groover Ra Bazaar and MUM homeboy Fearghal Delicious professionally work the room of Beatz and Bangerzzz. The Tea Room upstairs will be facilitating a floor of hungry live music goers (possibly including you) gearing up for a night of great sets by the likes of Louis London and Animaux, just loud enough to cancel out the boogiers beneath them in Yo Mumma's House slurring at the bartenders and sweating to the sounds of Bobby Gray and Sammy Soundslike's DJ setlists. You should also go check out The Parlour Sessions for acoustic gold by Lord Muk and Chris Neto!
With all of this and more in store alongside the awesome drink specials, friendly faces and safe housing of World Bar, it's sure to be an extremely great night for our Sydney pals. Plus how great is the acid Stimpy on the flyer?
