Live Review: LISTEN: Jamie XX & John Talabot 'Beats In Space' Mix
John Talabot and Jamie XX have teamed up for a crazy mix for New York City-based radio show Beats In Space.
Two epic producers, one epic radio mix. JOHN TALABOT and JAMIE XX got busy when they went on the Beats In Space Radio Show in New York City a couple of days ago.
Beats In Space is a radio station run by Tim Sweeney and has been playing weekly between 10:30pm and 1am every Tuesday since 1999. Sweeney was lucky enough to be able to join JOHN TALABOT and JAMIE XX in the studio where both producers created fantastic mixes for the independent radio show.
Both JOHN TALABOT and JAMIE XX are pretty high-ranking producers. JOHN TALABOT has released some pretty sweet material recently and last year, the producer performed at the inaugural Listen Out festival alongside a variety of other upcoming producers including DISCLOSURE. JAMIE XX of course is on par with TALABOT. As well as being a successful producer in his own right, JAIME XX also performs in THE XX and just dominates every live show.

When the artists walked into the Beats in Space studio, the pair embarked on a stunning journey of recording before they co-created a two and a half hour mix for the radio station which features a series exclusive and unreleased tracks from both artists. There has been no track list posted on the Beats In Space website just yet, however you may be able to pick whose tracks are whose if you know their releases well enough.
