Live Review: Ben Pearce & Black Orange Juice 'Predictable' (Ben Pearce Rework)

After only just completing a very successful Australian tour, BEN PEARCE has released a new collaborative track with UK trio BLACK ORANGE JUICE called 'Predictable'.

This new track is anything but predictable as it mixes the best of all four musicians involved into one soulful package. BEN PEARCE we have all come to know through his incredible production skills that were mainly highlighted on his single 'What I Might Do'. The single propelled him into the spotlight and PEARCE has been soaring ever since.

BLACK ORANGE JUICE you may not know so well. They are a trio of relatively new faces on the London dance scene and definitely have a flair for mixing genres. They have a list of influences that range from Chicago house, to classic R'n'B with just a little bit of disco. Once 'Predictable' was first played on BBC Radio 1 in the UK, everyone loved the new track and soon BEN PEARCE was back in his production chair ready to produce a rework for his latest collaboration.

With all four artists having their own flavour thrust upon the track, 'Predictable' has a little bit of something for everyone. You can hear the Chicago house  influence on the track, taking you back to those 90's garage days which you may have forgotten. But on the BEN PEARCE rework, things have been turned up just that little bit and now we have a pounding dance track that screams house more than anything else.

With a light beat opening with high pitched percussion, the soulful vocals still float along with the melody however they are more chopped. PEARCE has added a summer element to his rework with bright synths brightening up the track that was slightly darker in it's last form. The beat has been made slightly more funky and now 'Predictable' is a track that you cannot stop dancing to.

There's a little bit of everything on 'Predictable' and we know that BEN PEARCE has turned it into a wonderful house track that has something for everyone.
