Live Review: WATCH: Banks 'Brain' (Official Video)

There's nothing more feel-inducing and (hashtag) emotional than black and white in slow motion, is there? Nope, didn't think so.

The LA-native singer/songwriter with the voice of silk, BANKS has dropped the official video for her latest single 'Brain'. The track was produced by none other than the LA beat alien and king of WEDIDIT himself, SHLOHMO.

Strictly black and white the whole way through, save for a few key splashes of deep blood-red, the video for 'Brain' is as kaleidoscopic and introverted as the tune itself. Patterns and sculptures of glass-like figures and occult arrangements intertwine with flashes of BANKS herself, clad in a variety of outfits that seem to become more and more revealing as the clip goes along.

Hand in hand with the video's hypnotising movements, the track beats with a tempo close to a funeral march, filled with hazily filtered bass saws and backing vocals surrounded in a darkened cloud of distortion.
