Live Review: LISTEN: Panama 'Strange Feeling'

Some exciting things have happened for Sydney trio PANAMA since the release of their EP Always. Between receiving support from BBC Radio 1 in the UK and landing a spot in 2013's Triple J Hottest 100, the band will now be releasing Always in the US after signing a North American deal.

PANAMA have added a bonus track to the US re-release of the EP. 'Strange Feeling' is a very popular track from the band's live shows and for it to finally be released as a studio recording is a gift fans have been waiting for for a long time.

The track uses a heavy beat as it's spine as twinkling synths dance high above the vocal track, soon a piano bursts out to take centre stage. It mixes a magical melody with sweet vocals and deep percussion to create a product that sounds oh so uplifting.

If your travelling to the US for SXSW this year be sure to catch PANAMA performing alongside a bunch of Australia's best new acts.
