Live Review: LISTEN: Duke Dumont 'I Got U' ft. Jax Jones (Bondax Remix)
UK house duo Bondax have been added to the growing lists of artists who have remixed Duke Dumont's latest track.
Since it's initial release, we've heard a variety of remixes of DUKE DUMONT's 'I Got U'. TENSNAKE and JONAS RATHSMAN have both transformed the single into their own signature house jams, now we have yet another remix to revel in by UK duo BONDAX.
BONDAX have been producing some great remixes recently and these young guys have also got some fantastic original work to boot.
The duo have taken 'I Got U' and have pushed the track in another unique direction. With TENSNAKE highlighting the deeper potential of the track and JONAS RATHSMAN slowing the entire thing down to produce a nice chilled house track, BONDAX have decided to emphasise the tropical aspects of 'I Got U' which definitely keeps the original thriving.

The tropical marimbas featured on the original mix of 'I Got U' swing in straight away with JAX JONES' newly chopped vocals. The track then goes into a funky groove that is created with bright synths, twangy and also distorted guitars, with the added bonus of a very danceable beat.
The new remix sounds quite similar to DUKE DUMONT's mix and it seems that BONDAX have drawn on the original and blown up certain pieces and samples rather than just transforming the entire track. It's a groovy little number to keep you going throughout the day.
