Wave Racer Drops New Single 'Streamers' + US Tour Dates

Sydney based electronic producer, WAVE RACER, is set to drop his first single of the year 'Streamers' via the legendary Future Classic label this coming Friday, February 7th. 'Streamers' is a candy coated club tune with future funk vibes. He will also be touring the US this spring including several shows at SXSW.

Twenty one year old Tom Purcell is Wave Racer - a 64-bit freak riding a jet ski into the Sydney horizon. His squeaky clean production on debut single "Rock U Tonite" made waves in Australia and beyond, capturing the support of BBC Radio 1, XFM (UK) and Australia's own Triple J, along with enough blog support to take down Hype Machine.

Having recently released the double-A single 'Stoopid/Rock U Tonite' with Future Classic, along with a remix of Ghost Town DJs 'My Boo' and his acclaimed mixes of Panama's "Always" and Flight Facilities' "Stand Still", Wave Racer today drops sophomore single 'Streamers', channelling his inimitable (truly inimitable) production techniques to deliver another adorable slice of sun-kissed Jersey Club meets pixelated funk!

To celebrate this release, Tom is stepping out on his first headline Australian tour – ringing in the likes of NINA LAS VEGAS and RYAN HEMSWORTH en route. Having played the a string of shows at Falls Festival, The Plot and Sydney Festival over the summer, Wave Racer will embark on a tour of the States this year, as well as making his debut appearance on BBC RADIO 1 on a mix for 'DIPLO & Friends'.
