Live Review: LISTEN: Tensnake & Jacques Lu Cont ft. Jamie Lidell 'Feel Of Love'

It seems bizarre and nearly unheard of, that at nearly 40 years of age, a producer with years of experience would release what is essentially his debut album so late in the piece.

What is even more unbelievable is that that very same debut record, boasts a veritable "who's who" of soul, funk and disco collaborators  - with Nile Rodgers, Fiora, MNEK and Jeremy Glenn all featuring on the record.

In fact, everything we've heard so far from German producer TENSNAKE's new record Glow, scheduled for release on March 10, has given us the impression that it's one for the ages - with every cut burgeoning excitement and anticipation. Whether it's the soothing vocals courtesy of Fiora on the first single 58BPM, or the Midas Touch of Nile Rodgers on the track Love Sublime - the album is shaping up as impressive as it is versatile.

The latest track from the album, Feel Of Love, sees Tensnake teaming up with two absolute legends: Grammy award winning producer Stuart Price, aka Jacques Lu Cont, and British vocalist Jamie Lidell. It mixes retro disco sounds, modern-day house beats with futuristic synths to create a real melding pot of incredible sounds. The track sees Jamie Lidell step it up a notch with such a strong vocal performance that channels an Outkast vibe in parts, and well and truly stakes his claim as an emerging champion of the funk and soul scene.

There's something pretty timeless about this track, mostly because if it were made 10 years ago, it would be played on just about every radio station on GTA Vice City. That's how good it is.
