Italian producer PHRA better known to the world under his alias CROOKERS has returned with more heat for our consumption - what's better news than a brand new track? You can download it for free, baby.

There's no messing about with this track. 'Heavy' is indeed just that, a heavy slice of tasteful electro house. Massive drums wrapped in encapsulating, eyeball-quaking torrents of sub-bass, draped in stabbing percussive synths and cutting vocal samples.

Raw and uncensored (you'll see what I mean by the second build-up), this track takes a more minimal approach to the aesthetic of so-called 'EDM' with a low-rumbling sub-bass taking the place of a range of sounds that you wouldn't necessarily need a subwoofer for.

'Heavy' is repped by both CIAO and OWSLA (of Skrillex fame) records and is available for free download through CROOKERS' SoundCloud.
