Live Review: WATCH: Breach 'DJ-Kicks Interview Special'

British DJ and producer BREACH aka Ben Westbeech sits down to discuss his new music inspirations for the new 'DJ-KICKS' mix compilation.

BREACH is acclaimed for his dance / house / soul rhythms and approached his DJ-Kicks mix with that exact flavour and humility. Initially, he was honoured when he was asked to put together a mix for the internationally acclaimed mix. He talks about the pressures associated with being about of something with so much heritages.

“It was quite daunting so I approached it in the way that I came at it from a DJ angle with Breach.”

BREACH hoped to include his own flavour into the mix by playing the music that was important to him. After his great international success with ”Jack”, his audience was all ears. This gave him the opportunity to show people what music means most to him. With an eclectic nature, BREACH aimed to show his audience the different sounds that DJ Kicks brings. “You have to push forward as a DJ and educate people into new music.”
