MUM @ The World Bar Ft. Kanyon, Fox And Fowl + More

To end the working week in true "TGIF" fashion, MUM at The World Bar have put together a lineup of local bands to pleasantly fill the three rooms of Kings Cross' greatest party house.

Following his Oxford Art performance this Thursday night, Sydney producer Kanyon will be cooking up a slow-jam frenzy for his headline slot in the Disco Den. Influenced by the dub step generation some years ago, Kanyon found himself exchanging the guitar for electronic production, and has only recently started to perform live.

Having remixed the likes of Spoonty, Gotye and Christina Milan in his spare time, you should definitely come and see what this man is all about this Friday night!

If a live band is more your cuppa, make your way over to The Tea Room to catch the indie pop stylings of Fox And Fowl. The Brisbane quintet ran into the scene in 2011 and scored a main stage slot at Foreshore Music Festival not long after. Recently, they've released their single 'Pilot' and are planning on releasing their debut EP early 2014. Obviously cradling fresh material, they're more than worthy of your attendance at MUM this week.

Both Kanyon and Fox And Fowl will be treated by a lineup of support acts in their own respective performance rooms of the venue, including Empress Yoy, Violet Pup and Lord Muk, amongst others. You should also swing by Yo Mumma's House to catch sweet jams spun by DJ Skoob and Greenie!

As per, there'll be free popcorn, $5 tecate and bonus discounts with your Company card.
