Live Review: LISTEN: Elizabeth Rose 'The Good Life' (Emoh Instead 'Poolside' Mix)

8 December 2013 | 12:00 am | Lauren Payne

Emoh Instead has remixed the track that put Elizabeth Rose on the map.

ELIZABETH ROSE has definitely found 'The Good Life' that she sings about on her track of the same name. Moving from a small town to the big city and then becoming one of Australia's most beloved musicians, yeah that's pretty good.

In 2013, the world has looked to Australian electronic music to lead the way and credited us with being responsible for some of the best Producers and DJs. One of them, is ELIZABETH ROSE.

With 'The Good Life' released and listeners from across the globe taking notice of the petite bombshell, ROSE eventually embarked on her first overseas trip to New York where she performed and won some pretty nice awards that are probably making her shelves look marvellous right now. EMOH INSTEAD, the man famous for some of the craziest DJ sets you'll ever attend, has done a little remix to celebrate.

House synths are added in as well as some deeper bass licks that turn 'The Good Life' into more of a club track rather than the dance sing-a-long. The melody and twinkling stabs still remain the same as well as the best parts of ROSE's original vocals. The first chorus features some pretty sweet drums and well as a deep bass line that just gives the single a bit of bite.

'The Good Life' is going to be released on ELIZABETH ROSE's new EP which will drop in early 2014.
