Live Review: FREE DOWNLOAD: City Calm Down 'Speak To No End' (Groundislava Remix)

CITY CALM DOWN are one of I OH YOU's more laid back signings with an extremely intricate sound. The Sydney-boys worked together to perfect their sound before even thinking of releasing any material.

The band have released only one EP entitled Movements, which was extremely popular when it was released back in late 2012. CITY CALM DOWN's first remix treatment was brought to you by Perth-based producer TA-KU. His adaptation of 'Sense Of Self' received countless plays on Soundcloud and recognition from artists and listeners across the globe.

Here GROUNDISLAVA has brought his unique disco-influenced flavour and poured it across 'Speak To No End' in a very relaxed fashion.

Keeping true to the original vocal track, GROUNDISLAVA has placed the booming vocals on top of some very steady synths that are constantly grounded with a very hard beat. The melody flows nicely with lovely summery synths; it's easy to listen to and simple, just the way it should be at this time of the year.
