Fractures Announces First Club Shows Of 2014

6 December 2013 | 4:24 pm | Lauren Payne

Fractures sold out his debut live show at the Workers Club, so he's booked two more for early 2014.

2013 proved to be a whirlwind of a year for Melbourne-based producer FRACTURES. The release of his first single 'Twisted' saw the local soar after receiving praise from Triple J Unearthed and hundreds of thousands of SoundCloud plays.

Mark Zito was receiving national and international praise this year for his track 'Twisted', until he was stopped in his tracks by an almost fatal fall that left him in a neck brace for months. Finally, after a long recovery process, FRACTURES released his long-anticipated follow-up to 'Twisted', 'Cadence'.

'Cadence' received almost as much love as 'Twisted' after being premiered on Triple J. FRACTURES was officially back, but no one realised how much his music connected with the public until him announced his debut live show. The performance was at The Worker's Club in Melbourne and completely sold out, so of course the next thing to do was book two more club shows for early 2014.

The club shows will mark a brand new year for FRACTURES with another Melbourne show announced for January and his debut Sydney show in early February. After a year of many ups and downs, he will be kicking off next year in a positive light.

Melbourne fans will be able to catch FRACTURES playing at the Toff In Town on January 25 and if you had the privilege of attending his debut show at The Worker's Club, you know exactly what your in for. Sydney-siders may be in for a bit of a surprise when he heads up your way. The debut Sydney show is scheduled for February 1 at Brighton Up Bar.

Tickets for each show are available through the venue and we hope your 2014 is looking a little brighter now that FRACTURES is coming your way.
