Live Review: WATCH: Atoms For Peace 'Before Your Very Eyes' (Official Video)

Want something extremely impressive and psychadelic to watch right about now? Well look no further than the unveiling of ATOMS FOR PEACE's official video for 'Before Your Very Eyes'.

Last week, Atoms For Peace performed at the Hollywood Bowl. During the show, they premiered the video for 'Before Your Very Eyes' from AMOK. Frontman/all round awesome dude, Thom Yorke Tweeted the next day: "Aaah Blinkin' Hollywood:) Thanks to everyone who came last night. atomsforpeace.info". Turns out this was in fact a clue as to how to watch the clip, but since then, the band made it available via their YouTube account - and now you can watch it stress free.

Directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, the clip is a stop-motion/time-lapse masterpiece that bases itself around an awe-inspiring landscape filled with waves of a quicksand like substance. But then, before your very eyes (yes, we actually just wrote that), an animated sand-sculpture version of Thom Yorke emerges from the depths of the swirling ocean of sand and begins to sing out the track. With a slightly caved-in skull, you can sense the emotion within the lyrics very quickly as this sand monster begins to take more shape and yearns to be hear.

Things begin to get a bit more colourful and slightly more trippy as the clip continues, with more and more sculptures emerge and disintegrate into the sand below.

It's actually quite a gripping and down right creepy visual accompaniment to one of the highlight tracks from AMOK, and the more you watch, the more you become entranced by the stunning concept and insane animation.
