TOP FIVES: Tracks To Listen Out For At The Plot

18 October 2013 | 12:00 am | Tony Kingston

Australia's newest music festival The Plot has come to us with a bunch of tracks that are sure to tear down the house at their upcoming dates.

Australia’s newest music festival THE PLOT will make its debut in Sydney and Melbourne this December. It’ll feature a fantastic line up made up of ALISON WONDERLAND (DJ Set), MIAMI HORROR, GOLD FIELDS, NAYSAYER & GILSUN (AV Set), DJ SNAKE, WAVE RACER, TOUCH SENSITIVE, PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs, INDIAN SUMMER, WORDLIFE, HAYDEN JAMES and many more.

We decided to nail down five tracks to consciously keep your ears open for on the day!

MIAMI HORROR 'Sometimes'

MIAMI HORROR are finally returning to Australia for some live performances over summer. Their catchy synth-pop goodness will bring back memories for plenty of punters, especially 'Sometimes', which will almost definitely be included in their set. You can also expect to hear some new material, including their most recent single REAL SLOW which they've been busy working on in the studio overseas.

GOLD FIELDS 'Moves'

Known for their intense live shows, we were stoked to hear GOLD FIELDS will be playing THE PLOT! Their track 'Moves' is always a winner live and will definitely encourage the crowd to go bonkers!

HAYDEN JAMES 'Permission To Love'

If you attended Splendour In The Grass or Listen Out this year you may have witnessed a DJ set by HAYDEN JAMES. On this particular occasion we'll get the chance to see his debut live show! Following in the footsteps of FLUME, he recently released an EP on Future Classic, which has been getting impressive reviews.

TOUCH SENSITIVE 'Pizza Guy'

Probably one of the tracks which will gain the most attention at THE PLOT is TOUCH SENSITIVE's 'Pizza Guy'. Michael Di Francesco (of VAN SHE fame) has really stepped up to create a solid solo career for himself. If you haven’t had the chance to see his admirable ‘slapping the bass’ skills then you’re in for a real treat!

INDIAN SUMMER 'Foreign Formula'

These young Melbourne gentlemen have been gaining a lot of well deserved hype lately in the Australian electronic music scene. Their energetic DJ sets are always full of bangers and on stage they appear as though they're having as much fun as the audience. Let's just hope they bring their confetti cannon!

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

DCUP 'Don’t Be Shy' (WAVE RACER Remix)

WORDLIFE 'Breakthrough'
