Today we bring you the brand new video for Melbourne production duo, Naysayer & Gilsun‘s, 'Blue’.

Today we bring you the brand new video for Melbourne production duo, NAYSAYER & GILSUN‘s, 'Blue’. It's taken from the EP, All That Good Work / Blue, which drops today!! Cheers all round are in order for this one.

Naysayer & Gilsun are rapidly becoming known for their mix-up of organic and digital sounds, with references from every corner of electronic music getting a bit of a go in their recordings. It's incredibly exciting to see their brand of DIY attitude pay off with some really smart releases and accompanying visuals over the past couple of years.

The new EP comes on the back of the impressive 'In Mind', featuring the vocals of I'lls, Simon Lam; and is being released by Club Mod, Modular Recordings' baby brother label. The label is an eclectic and regular series of digital and 12" single releases aimed at a certain kind of dancefloor - and All That Good Word / Blue fits the mould perfectly.

'Blue' is a lot less beats driven and relaxed than its predecessor, 'In Mind' - but it definitely finds its own life within the house-ier side of things. Deep and dark bass beats create the backing for the track, whilst light and glitchy synths weave their way in and out of the scene - the result, a hypnotic yet melancholic dance track.

The accompanying clip, isn't so much of a 'clip, as it is more of a set of perfectly flowing visuals. Created and animated by 'Naysayer', aka (Luke Neher) - the visuals move with the track and feature plenty of shooting objects that match the beat. Essentially, these retro styled creations swallow up the sounds on offer and create a landscape that is constantly moving with this textured creation.

The EP is gaining massive props from people like, The Aston Shuffle, Nick Catchdubs, Gabe Andruzzi (The Rapture) and more. And if 'All That Good Word' is just as good as 'Blue', we have a feeling that this release is going to be one of the best in the genre this year.
