Budweiser and AIMA have joined forces to grant Australia's next big name in electronic music the opportunity of their life! Could that person be you??
If you're a passionate, dedicated Australian producer or DJ hoping to make it into the industry, you'd be an absolute fool not to read on as Budweiser and the Australian Independent Music Awards (AIMA) have teamed up to offer you the opportunity that would change your life forever.
On the hunt for Australia's next big name in the electronic music scene, Budweiser and AIMA are reaching out to those of you who work hard and are 110% committed to your production and/or DJ work. What they're offering is more than spectacular, as it goes above and beyond just a bit of industry help. It may as well be the biggest and shiniest trophy imaginable, as this prize is not just physical, there's also experience, reputation and exposure to be gained! So what is it, and how can it all be yours?
One very lucky Australian will be flown over to America to play the reputable Marquee Las Vegas and Marquee New York, potentially followed by a slot at a NYC industry party. From this, you'll be flown back to Australia to undertake a series of homecoming gigs where you'll be playing some of our most renowned clubs, including Marquee Sydney.

The shows don't necessarily have to end there though, as you're to receive the support of MusicOz to potentially play festivals & international DJ sets, gain sponsorship opportunities and be introduced to record labels and media executives. You'll also be guaranteed media exposure, where you're to be interviewed and featured on leading music publications & blogs, as well as have your mixes circulating on selected music streaming sites.
As surreal as this all is, how would you go about it without the right gear? Thanks to the guys involved, this majestic prize will be topped off with a Pioneer DDJ-SX4-channel Serato DJ controller, complete with professional software!
This champion of a prize can only be given to the right player. To live the dream by making this all yours, all you are required to do is send your work over! Producers, you're to submit what you believe are your best tracks, remixes and edits. DJs, shoot through your greatest mix! Submissions go HERE.
Final entries are taken at midnight on Monday, 30th September and are to be reviewed by an independent judging panel made up of music and entertainment industry experts. The insanely fortunate winner will announced and notified at the AIMA ceremony held at The Star's New Event Centre in Sydney on Thursday, 7th September.
