As a founding member of Club Cheval, CANBLASTER, has spent a large part of the last decade destroying dancefloors with silky house grooves. Now the Frenchman is on the brink of releasing a new EP, and hence we are stoked to receive the first single from the release.

The new 6-track EP is titled Infinite, and will be released via Surkin and Para One's Marble imprint. The record plays as a reel of the artist's interpretation of modern pop and R&B, whilst being paired with Canblaster's natural instinct for twisted, yet shimmering rhythm and programming.

Its first cut is 'I Think About U', and is a downbeat and insanely layered production, full of lush ambient synths. With plenty of washed out organs in the mix, the minimal production provides an intriguing listen, whilst still maintaining plenty of house vibes to get any club moving.

The producer also recently spoke of his new EP, stating:

"This new EP is born from my desire to juxtapose pop and R&B narratives against the construction, deconstruction, variations and disequilibrium of the musical loop.

This project was both very exciting and difficult to undertake as I reached beyond the usual scope of my creative process, drawing inspiration from a more personal place than I have in the past. I blended recorded sounds and samples, mixed vocals I sung myself and cut ups from old acapellas, creating a sound that felt whole enough that the individual elements that compose each track would become superfluous and unimportant."

You can grab the Infinite EP as of tomorrow, but before you do - make sure you have a sit down and listen to this EP teaser Canblaster put together.
