Whilst the original Angel Haze track is a booming anthem, with SOHN at the production helms, the track is transformed into a much more sparse creation.
If there's anything Hip-Hop needs it's someone like ANGEL HAZE. Ever since she her teenage days, throwing ferocious mixtapes together, it's been her raw and honest material that has seen her fall into a world of hype and devoted fans.
With a willingness to address subjects that many of her peers don't, and be able to do it in a thrillingly unique way, Haze's material has hit many a chord, with many people seeing their lives reflected in what she talks about. So it's super exciting to hear that her debut LP, Dirty Gold, is coming out very soon! It's due to drop on October 14, via Island Records, to be exact.
'Echelon (It's My Way)' the album's first single, was dropped a couple of weeks ago. And is said to be "a tremendously propulsive hip-hop summer jam that showcases her underrated sense of fun, returning to the rat-a-tat chat that she does with such panache." But that's not what we're here to talk about. We're here to talk about the absolutely massive remix of the single, provided by Vienna/London based producer - SOHN.

Whilst the original is a booming synth based anthem, with SOHN at the production helms, the track is transformed into a much more sparse and open creation. It may be a little less grand, but with a bit of pitch shifting and scattering of percussion - the producer allows for Haze's vocals to still retain all of the raw energy and ferociousness everyone loves. It's very dark, very powerful and very fucking cool.
