Live Review: PREMIERE: Garcon Garcon 'Instant Attraction' (Meare Remix)

3 months after electro-pop duo GARÇON GARÇON'S initial release of their single 'INSTANT ATTRACTION' Sydney-sider and beat producer MEARE (first name Peter) has taken on official remix duties taking the poppy single into brave new territories whilst still managing to keep a firm grasp on the catchy magic that enchanted the original cut.

MEARE proves how versatile his workings as a producer can be on this remix, keeping his trademark tone of vivacious bass, radical synth melody and unique style of vocal cutting.

The remix comes shortly after producer MEARE has supported US bass-heavyweight Salva, and latest Future Classic signee, Wave Racer in Sydney. Mr. MEARE is definitely a live act to catch, boasting a hardware setup of two Roland SP-404 samplers which he uses to juggle and manipulate original production on in real time - a spectacle and breath of fresh air to see in the age of DJs.
