We all remember the tremendous hype that surrounded DAFT PUNK's Random Access Memories earlier this year. Everybody couldn't stop talking about the return of our favourite dance duo who made the nineties just so damn exciting and their collaboration with The Creators Project on their trailer videos for the album definitely turned up the hype metre.

The Creators Project have some exciting stuff tucked into that portfolio of theirs, created between a partnership with VICE and Intel, it's an initiative that focuses on art and technology and the wonderful things that can come out of this combination, like music.

Their latest venture is a project with chilled-out electronic musician WASHED OUT, who has his new album Paracosm coming out in the coming months. Now the the performer has teamed up with The Creators Project to create a little album review of his own, but unlike DAFT PUNK, the project is more educational and experimental than mysterious and tempting. It has become a two-part mini-documentary entitled Exploring The Sounds Of Paracosm, which explores the diverse use of sounds that WASHED OUT has used on his new album and the unique instruments he used to create them.

In Part One, WASHED OUT travels to The Audities Foundation in Calgary to experiment with various instruments and talk with one of the organisation's members David Kean.

The album will be released on Pod through Inertia on August 9th
