Live Review: LISTEN: The Preatures 'Is This How You Feel?' (Classixx Remix)
Classixx make a remix return with their rendition of The Preatures' 'Is This How You Feel?'.
CLASSIXX and THE PREATURES, two totally different sides of the musical spectrum have come together for a very special remix that is proving to be quite the party starter.
The LA production duo's debut album Hanging Gardens was quite a surprise to everyone but now it's nice to see them get back to the remix side of things to play around with a track by alternative rockers THE PREATURES.
THE PREATURES have become well-known in their hometown of Sydney and pretty much everywhere else for their lovely indie tunes. The original mix for 'Is This How You Feel?' is actually quite a boppy track, appealing to a more alternative audience (kitsch hipsters unite!). The guitars are simple, the lyrics are catchy, 'Is This How You Feel?' is a cute catchy track that sticks with you, but CLASSIXX have remixed the track and turned it into a bit more of an electronic ice breaker.

The synths have made a heavy appearance already changing the mood of the track, a slow disco vibe oozes off the CLASSIXX remix and it's a casual track with it's relaxed beat and it's seventies inspired tweaks. The dance vibes are definitely there, probably something nice to play whilst everyone has a lovely chat about their day, or as they watch some nice fireworks and eat all of the juicy sausages that have just come off the barbecue.
