Kristy Lee Peters aka KLP has had some hits pumping out of her musical arsenal for the past few months now and she is well on her way to becoming one of the electronic music scenes new disco belles.

Her new track 'Down South', co-written with Perth beat tycoon TA-KU, has had the remix treatment by two very talented artists recently, and they've taken some pretty cool turns with the tracks that seems to make KLP shine just that much brighter.

SURECUT KIDS have ravaged 'Down South' with their own twist of deep house + Sydney's MOONBASE COMMANDER, the legend behind so many great tunes of late has lent his efforts to it as well. Recently he remixed FRAMES' re-work of KYLIE MINOUGE's oldie-but-goodie track 'Slow', and now here we have him turning 'Down South' into something mystical.

This enchanting remix has KLP's blissful vocals pour over a tribal drum beat and gentle, trickling synths that produce a cute, yet sensual vibe. There isn't an overwhelming amount happening here keeping true to the less is more, a saying that you've probably heard countless times over the years. Smooth keys help the track keep it's suave groove, and the whole thing just oozes cool.

MOONBASE COMMANDER has a few more remixes in the works so it'll be exciting to see what he's got in store for us next!
