We're thankful of one Cut Copy fan for revealing the first digital listen of the Melbourne outfit's new single, 'Let Me Show You'.
Melbourne quartet CUT COPY recently released a brand new single titled 'Let Me Show You'. Instead of launching it into the world's arms by the usual digital-listen-then-physical-release routine, they've cheekily supplied one very special music festival with just 120 copies on a vinyl format.
You may know this event as Chicago's Pitchfork Music Festival. The band sold 120 super rare, numbered, one-sided copies over the past weekend at the festival's CHIRP Record Fair; freshly cutting the 12"'s on the spot with each recipient's name to be carved into the thick black discs.
Thanks to the 73rd customer, he's given the Internet a world premiere of the six minute track.

It's a mix between '80s glam and modern day funk; thanks to the spring, almost nasal synths, copious layers of melodic love affairs and the rise and fall of the tracks instrumental patterns. Add a dose of frontman and founder Dan Whitford's vocals and you've got a standout track from the Australian outfit.
It's a tease for such a sweet jam to be heard in such a way. It really makes you want to be inside the dude's record player! Let him show you Cut Copy's 'Let Me Show You' anyway. Feel free to skip to 1:24 to avoid a repeat of everything I just said and a heartbreaking motion of the guy pulling the record out of its sleeve..
