Melbourne five piece SMILE have released a very special double film clip for their tracks 'Sunni Heart' and 'Born Again'. Directed by Max Turner, the clip has late-night program RAGE written all over it.

Cleverly combining the two tracks, the video kicks off with 'Sunni Heart', featuring a pair of twins exercising in matching neck braces and short shorts by the pool because hey, anything is possible.

After the quirky smirks and cheeky muscle tensing, the SMILE members shoot out of a star and immediately kick into their slower jam 'Born Again'. Filmed in front of a green screen, the guys stand before images of people, pools and explosions as they jam, air kick, unsuccessfully catch flying drum sticks and run around the performance space.

Through the low budget production of the double clip, as well as the washed out colours and lined frame of the camera, this video has quite a 90s feel to it, and resonates with bands such as the LemonheadsDinosaur JrSmudge and maybe even a hint of Buffalo Tom.

They're the type of band that you wish you knew so much more about, because their music is just so damn good.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the release of SMILE's upcoming debut album!
