A lot of people usually strive for one career goal in their life. Whether it's to become a musician, statistician, jockey or the next Julia Gillard, we all have some sort of fire in our bellies.

Well, unless you're DAVID LYNCH who has many a title under his name. If were to take a multiple choice test on himself, he'd be ticking the "all of the above response" to whether he was a director, writer, producer, sound designer, carpenter and musician.

So with saying that, he's confirmed details of his forthcoming album The Big Dream - the follow up to his debut record Crazy Clown Time. Before its July release, we've been given a taste of what to expect through the video release of his collaborative track 'I'm Waiting Here', featuring lyrics from Swedish singer-songwriter LYKKE LI!

As we watch day fold into night, we travel across a huge, open highway, revealing stretched out views of sublime scenery. Once you take into consideration the title and lyrics of the song, it's as though this clip documents the quest of the receiver of the line, "I'm waiting here". Driving aimlessly through this terrific area, we eventually pull up at the buried treasure.

This velocity is charmed by the sensual, airy vocals of Lykke Li, as her voice effortlessly leads the composition of guitar chords and soft percussion.

David Lynch has also released an album trailer to The Big Dream that features two new songs from the sophomore record.

David Lynch and Lykke Li's 'I'm Waiting Here' will be instantly sent to you as a digital download when you pre-order The Big Dream from iTunes!

The Big Dream will be available to purchase on July 15th.
