SOUNDCLOUD WRAP: Emoh Instead, What So Not

EMOH from the legendary dance duo, WHAT SO NOT are in the thick of a two-and-a-half month string of tour dates around Australia in support of the group’s forthcoming sophomore EP ‘The Quack’.

Lucky for us we get the 24/7 party boy at this fridays second birthday at CANT SAY and in preparation we invited EMOH to curate this week’s PURPLE SNEAKERS ‘Soundcloud Wrap’.

He chose 10 tracks he’s digging at the moment for us and gave us a little blurb for each one. Let’s get stuck in…

TNGHT ‘Acrylics’

“Bang Bang BANG”

“A unique twist on Bmore, R&B and trap.”

LEADERBOY ‘Wicken in The Neighbourhood’

“Gessafelstien meets Daft Punk meets Chemical Brothers”

MOTEZ ‘Ride Roof Back’

“The first time I heard it was in an Eats Everything set rip. I was surprised to hear this production had come from right here in Australia”

RUSTIE ‘Slasherr’ (FLUME Edit)

“Take Rustie’s melodic stomper Slasherr, add some Flume sparkle and you’ve got yourself a lady squealing hit.”

LDRU ‘The Tropics’

“Melodic BANGERZ”

“This one’s a real head turner. In traditional Crookers style it’s wacked out, unconventional and bangs hard.”

MATT MILLER x KILTER ‘Gravel Pit’ (FLUME Live Biggie Edit)

“Cause non you udder bitchez got it”

WHAT SO NOT ‘The Quack’ Club Dubs

“This groove is freakin unreal”
