Aside from being a member of HOT CHIP, JOE GODDARD has his fair share of side projects that seem to keep him very busy.

Since HOT CHIP appeared on everyone's radars, the synth player and percussionist kind of came into his own by releasing his album Harvest Festival back in 2009, starting his record label Greco-Roman to which TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS and various other acts report to, and also appeared as a guest on many of his act's tracks.

It's amazing what this man has done and by lending his vocal chords to Detroit producer Todd Osborn aka. OSBORNE, JOE GODDARD has helped create a lovely track that showcases the artist's talent for creating classic house music. The vocals are very soulful and seem to fall into the track perfectly with the solid beat and twinkling synths that surround it.

This is the first track that OSBORNE has released since the Hovercrafting EP he released back in 2009 and may I say, this is a pretty sweet one to return with. 'Hold Up' has an almost child-like sense to it and the synths trickle through the smooth melody and really is the best track for a midnight drive.

'Hold Up' is set to be released on July 22 with a few treats for us all as well. JOE GODDARD has remixed the track himself and humbly called it 'Joe's Dub'.
