Live Review: LISTEN: Lancelot 'The Way I Feel About You'
Lancelot's ‘The Way I Feel About You’ starts of with a fairly heavy beat taking you back to the good old days where house music controlled the world

This is how LANCELOT introduces himself on his Soundcloud. This continues into a long paragraph about his musical influences and how he put together his new track ‘The Way I Feel About You’ a B side for our enjoyment. LANCELOT explains that the vocal track was taken from one of his influences from way back in 1986. The S.O.S Band released their track “The Finest” in that year and LANCELOT has borrowed the their vocals for this B side keeping “quite true to the original”.

You remember that time right, when all your friends were only just turning 16 and they thought Ibiza was the best holiday destination and everyone loved DARUDE (which I still do). Soon you hear deep synths that bring you back to today and the vocal track moves through smoothly and yes, LANCELOT didn’t stray too far from the original at all.
The track soon moves itself along like a car at midnight with all the city lights bouncing off its windows. That’s what you feel like anyway, LANCELOT has a pretty good dance track here and you can detect a disco-like influence and it’s refreshing since you don’t hear many disco influences in electronic music too much now. A cool bass pops up in the track as well, see if you can spot it because it’s a quirky little riff.
