Melbourne trio I'lls have released their forthcoming EP's second single, titled 'Speak Low'.
We've been closely following Melbourne trio I'LLS for a little while now. They've announced details of their sophomore EP A Warm Reception and released its exquisite first single 'Plans Only Drawn'. To continue on, we're delighted to present to you the EP's second single, 'Speak Low'!
Milking out these tracks is a complete tease. With 'Plans Only Drawn' kicking us off in all its evocative beauty, the charm of I'lls strengthens through the sounds of 'Speak Low'. The drums, guitars and vocals all seem disjointed from one another, but still work as an entity.
The whirlwind of different key patterns and rung out notes that fabricate the foreground help glue these different paths. In total, you feel like you've been given an Access All Areas pass to the imagination of a very creative individual. If you invest the time, this dreamy, moody soundscape is sure to take you on a magical journey.

After launching 'Plans Only Drawn' to a packed out Melbourne crowd at The Toff last Saturday night, as well as previously supporting XXYYXX, Chet Faker, Oliver Tank and Collarbones, it's a really exciting thing watching this band grow, as they're sure to blossom into something spectacular if they keep making music like this.
A Warm Reception will be released in the middle of next month as a "name your price" download on Bandcamp via Yes Please Records because they're a bunch of nice guys.
