By the time I read the presser I was sent about the new IS TROPICAL video, it was already too late. YouTube had already taken it down as 'its content violated YouTube's Terms Of Service'.
This immediately set off my internal alarms, as something taken down so quickly, had to be one of two things. Very very good, or at least, pretty damn crude. Thankfully, Vimeo aren't a bunch of prudes taking orders from Google - and there you can view the full official uncut totally crude, but totally amazing video for the UK foursome's latest single, 'Dancing Anymore'. Did I mention it was crude?

'Dancing Anymore' is the second taste from IS TROPICAL's sophomore LP, I'm Leaving, and although doesn't create much controversy in it's lyrical content and sound. It's video is definitely fuelled by one perverted mind.
This perverted mind is the team of French super producers - better known as MEGAFORCE. If you don't know them, do yourself a favour and check out their work. Not only did they create the clip for IS TROPICAL's debut album lead single, 'The Greeks' - but they've also put out clips for Late Of The Pier's 'Heartbeat', Metronomy's 'A Thing For Me' and Two Door Cinema Club's 'I Can Talk' to name a few. Each filled with ingenious stories, production value, ridiculously cool and unique visuals; and sheer brilliance. This time around is no different.
Pinned as the sequel to 'The Greeks', they've taken away the gore that engulfs a child's mind (you'd get it if you'd seen the clip) as those kids transform into horny pubescent teens. Following a guy that has clearly landed the dream job of 'indoor pool cleaner for extremely rich family with hot mum who get their mansion to themselves', he is seen doing everything a teen would do in that situation. He plays on their grand piano, messes around with antique swords, smokes on their bed and so on...
It's so weird and off-putting that you just end up loving it. And therefore, It's easily the best clip of the year so far. But please, for gods sake, DO NOT WATCH THIS AT WORK. OR IN FRONT OF OTHERS....
