JAGWAR MA have been hard at work since the release of their ever-so-lovely track 'The Throw'. European tours and festival appearances in the UK have taken up most of the bands time of late as well as an unfortunate sickness that saw the band having to cancel their Australian shows.
Luckily though the boys of JAGWAR MA are feeling good and after being featured on the Splendour In The Grass line-up for 2013, the band have a few more treats for us all.
The first sweet treat is a mixtape that JAGWAR MA have created for The Fader. The culture mag has been on top fashion, music and any other cool trend you can think of for years, and the mix that has been put together for the magazine has put a lively soundtrack to your Friday morning. Starting with a pretty intimidating audio sample, it transitions to a cute and slightly uplifting melody and everything feels good.

The track flows beautifully and it's really casual and comforting which is something I haven't said about a track in a very long time. The tune reminds you of MGMT's 'Kids' until a hard beat enters the mix to put a whole different spin on the track. About halfway into the mix, JAGWAR MA have added a cool tropical tune bring back those summer memories that you all miss so much. The variety of different genres in the mix all show a bit of versatility which is always great in a mix like this. The Fader are lucky that JAGWAR MA can do this for them and applause to the boys for creating such a cool mix.
Treat number two is quite different, but still something for you all to get excited about. On the bands Soundcloud, JAGWAR MA have premiered a new track! Yep, a new single entitled 'Man I Need' was posted as a "white label version" via the music sharing site and it's a pretty cool jam (sorry for that but it had to be said). The relaxed synths pump through the track with great flow and honestly are the best part of the track. Best played whist having a relaxing beer on a Saturday night, 'Man I Need' is a wonderful new track from the boys we just can't get enough of!
