Rock is defined in so many ways these days that it’s hard to pinpoint an artist in one sub-genre but even back as far as the 1920s, each area of rock'n'roll sounded completely different and everyone had their own definition.

This particular track from BASS DRUM OF DEATH has a slightly surfy or lo-fi touch to it, which you can hear underneath the killer melody. Think WAVVES crossed with DZ DEATHRAYS, now you get it? BASS DRUM OF DEATH have a talent for making garage melodies that are very memorable as they tend to flow the same throughout the entire song.

Usually the band produce more of a straight up garage sound but this track makes you also think of that but with a bit of summer thrown in. BASS DRUM OF DEATH have evolved, the lighter sound and echoing vocals come together really well and it’s just a great track all in all.
