TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT: The Postal Service Confirm First Headline Shows In 10 Years

Ben Gibbard, of DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE fame, and Jimmy Tamborello – otherwise known as THE POSTAL SERVICE and for the much-loved ‘Such Great Heights’ – have officially announced their first headline shows in almost 10 years.

Dates in the US around their appearance at Coachella in April have previously been confirmed, and two UK dates have now been added.

The tour announcement comes in time for the deluxe edition reissue of their platinum 2003 release Give Up, through Sub Pop records. The reissue will include previously unreleased tracks along with covers from the likes of IRON & WINE and THE SHINS.

Gibbard and Tamborello will be touring with a band including Jenny Lewis (of RILO KILEY) and Laura Burhenn (of BRIGHT EYES), and will play Manchester and London, as well as shows on the continent in Barcelona and Paris.

Tickets for those of you (lucky things) in the UK can be bought:
