Foals have released their clip to their track 'My Number' that is to feature on their upcoming record Holy Fire.

FOALS is quite simply for everyone. The evocative blend of Yannis' smooth vocals and the entire band's textural instrumentation tends to meld people together, allowing a lively community. If for some ridic reason you don't believe me, you clearly have not yet seen their brand new clip for 'My Number'.

Without any sense of acknowledgement, a clear underager walks past three girls on the street as he hopes to get into the venue Foals are playing at. We leave the boy behind as security rejects him and follow our ears to Foals' 'Spanish Sahara' from their Total Life Forever LP.

Once finding the source, we're introduced to a crowd of hyped up Foals fans, dancing away to the British outfit. By this point, they've kicked off their brand new track 'My Number'. Throughout the film clip, we pass by a bathroom of lovers making out and the intoxicated covering up their drug efforts, a tripper get relieved from lying amongst the crowd on the venue's floor, and rekindle with the boy and three girls as they enjoy Foals in a different light from outside of the venue.

A vid with more focus on the fans of Foals rather than the boys of the band themselves, let the clip lead you from inside and out of the venue, following the different yet brief scenarios of those in attendance. As we've now been treated to a few songs off the new record, I think it's safe to say that the level of keenness that Foals fans are wearing has heightened in the lead up to hearing Holy Fire in its entirety.

Currently in Australia, catch Foals on the end of Big Day Out's circuit for 2013. You can also catch Edwin Congreave of the band DJ at Melbourne's Ding Dong Lounge on Australia Day! Read more about that HERE.
