Everything about this particular remix feels so right. Originally by California sisters HAIM, the girls have been making quite a splash around the world.

Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Everything about this particular remix feels and sounds so right. Originally by California sisters, HAIM, the girls have been making quite a splash around the world.

2012 has seen the girls supporting the likes of Florence and the Machine and Mumford & Sons, the release of their three-track EP, ‘Forever’ and also their most recent single release ‘Don’t Save Me’. The B-side of this single release features the percussive toxicity of ‘Send Me Down’.

Swedish musician/producer DAN LISSVIK has somehow incorporated the original glossy veneer the vocals within the original track held with an incredibly nostalgic, almost minimalist beat. The integration of unnoticed harmonies within the vocals and slight guitar riffs running alongside the synth, mesh for a definitive, infectious sound.

A credit to LISSVIK, he’s created more out of something that already had it all. One for your iPod, this particular remix will leave you singing along for plays to come.
