Live Review: LISTEN: Disclosure 'White Noise' ft. AlunaGeorge

The only band cooler than ALUNAGEORGE right now is DISCLOSURE. So by default this must be one of the coolest songs of this year....right?

DISCLOSURE have become the saviours of dance music by producing lean mean techno house that's been putting the trap fad to shame.  They're bringing back warehouse style jams that are intelligently composed and dangerously addictive... especially when paired with the vocal stylings of ALUNAGEORGE. Aluna Francis has the trimmings of a top 40 popstar but thanks to bandmate George Reid channels that potential into creating soulful, r'n'b based electo-pop.

House music layered under delicate female vocals is not a revolutionary concept (it is essentially ALUNAGEORGE's niche) but this collaboration manages to take the delicate balance of Aluna's sweet, thoughtful voice and  and DISCLOSURE's signature build in intensity and elevate it to a new level.  Just when you think you've found the groove of the song and are getting comfortable being on that level ...BAM! they whack you across the side of the head with a fuck-off bass line and lyrical build that inspires you to keep this song on repeat for a very long time.

Fans will appreciate this track, newcomers will adore it and haters, well, they won't be able to do anything but dance.
