Live Review: TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT: Worlds End Press

So many wonderful acts have released their first singles this year. Our own PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs blasted ‘Last One Standing’, and NAYSAYER AND GILSUN have just released ‘In Mind’ which features the vocal stylings of the wonderful SIMON LAM.

WORLDS END PRESS released their first single ‘Second Day Uptown’ earlier this year and are now hard at work recording their first studio album and after recording in the UK, the band have announced a series of Australian tour dates.

WORLDS END PRESS will kick off their Australian tour with long-distance dance duo COLLARBONES who are touring their latest album Die Young. Both acts will be appearing in Sydney and Melbourne and in Brisbane WORLDS END PRESS and COLLARBONES will be joined by MITZI for a night of dance-driven madness (see Brisbane sometimes we are the special ones).

So yeah, WORLDS END PRESS will be dominating the east coast in December but wait, that’s not all. The band will also be appearing at the most anticipated music festival of the summer, yeah that’s right, WORLDS END PRESS are also playing Falls Festival in Lorne, Victoria. Falls Festival has already announced some big names for their shows including BLEEDING KNEES CLUB and INDIAN SUMMER DJS in their most recent announcement, and now after touring the east coast with COLLARBONES, WORLDS END PRESS will be performing for some really lucky punters (really guys, I’m jealous).

So an east coast tour and an appearance at Falls Festival, WORLDS END PRESS will be very busy throughout December and also, in January. Yeah, WORLDS END PRESS aren’t going anywhere after their tour because in January, WORLDS END PRESS will also be touring with HOT CHIP. January will be the month where the east coast of Australia will receive another taste of WORLDS END PRESS when they tour with the UK electronic gurus HOT CHIP. So yeah, Australia will be treated to many performances by WORLD’S END PRESS but hey, who’s complaining?
