Live Review: PREMIERE: Guerre 'Rashad' (Loose Pace)

Toronto-born Sydney artist GUERRE has been swimming in hype of late. The highly revered RnB/lo-fi/experimental artist has garnered quite a following on the back of some tasty beats and chilled grooves.

For those who don't know, think JAMES BLAKE on prescription meds. Sexy, sexy meds. Having recently collaborated with your new favourite band COLLARBONES, GUERRE returns to his solo project with 'Rashad (Loose Pace)'.

Building on his already impressive catalogue of unreleased tracks, 'Rashad (Loose Pace) is, as its parenthetical name would suggest, a mellow affair. It swirls and swoons, with GUERRE's 'more-soothing-than-aloe-vera' vocals dripping like honey through your speakers.
