Falls Festival Fourth Lineup Announcement

I don't know about you, but back in early July I was in a state beyond euphoria as I was informed of the highly anticipated first lineup announcement for the 2012/2013 Falls Music and Arts Festival.

Bearing the knowledge that certain bands and artists' presence would be closing 2012 and opening 2013 in a beautiful, natural amphitheater had me ready to buy tickets from the get go. I'm talking The Flaming Lips, Beach House, SBTRKT and Best Coast - just to name a few.

A week or two later, a further seven acts were announced, the bill's latest additions featuring names such as Hot Chip, Bombay Bicycle Club, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and First Aid Kit.

A day before the ballot tokens were emailed out, Falls threw Two Door Cinema Club, Cosmo Jarvis, Django Django and loads more into the mix.

If you're not already falling over (excuse the pun) from this monster of a lineup, I would seek some medical attention in advance as the New Years festival has added another eight acts!

To expand the mega New Years party, Lorne and Marion Bay will showcase San Cisco, Loon Lake, Oh Mercy, Bertie Blackman, The Jungle Giants, DJ Nu Mark Toy Set, Jaguar Skills and Rodrigo Y Gabriela.

So if you're a lucky ticketholder of Lorne tickets, go and gloat to all your empty handed guy and gal pals as this lineup is proving to conduct a pretty exciting festival.
